I always dreamed of finding the lost planet. The one that my grandfather told me stories about when I was a child. The one that he said was our true home, before the war tore it apart and scattered us across the galaxy. The one that he said had a name, but he never told me what it was.

He only gave me a clue. A star map, engraved on a pendant that he wore around his neck. He said it was the key to finding the lost planet, if I ever had the courage to follow it. He said it was a dangerous journey, full of perils and enemies. He said it was a journey that only a true descendant of the lost planet could make.

He died when I was sixteen, leaving me the pendant and his starship, the Wanderer. He also left me a message, recorded on a hologram. He said he was proud of me, and that he hoped I would fulfill his wish. He said he loved me, and that he would always watch over me from the stars. He said goodbye, and the hologram faded.

I decided to honor his memory, and his wish. I packed my bags, boarded the Wanderer, and set off to find the lost planet. I had no idea where I was going, or what I would find. I only had the star map, and my curiosity.

I traveled for years, following the star map from one system to another. I saw wonders and horrors, beauty and ugliness, life and death. I met friends and foes, allies and enemies, lovers and haters. I learned a lot, but I also lost a lot. I gained experience, but I also suffered pain. I grew up, but I also grew old.

I never gave up, though. I never stopped searching. I never stopped hoping. I never stopped dreaming.

Until one day, I found it.

The lost planet.

It was hidden in a nebula, at the edge of the galaxy. It was surrounded by a force field, that only the pendant could deactivate. It was guarded by a fleet of drones, that only the Wanderer could evade. It was waiting for me, as if it knew I was coming.

I landed on the surface, and felt a surge of emotion. I felt joy and sorrow, excitement and fear, awe and wonder. I felt like I had come home, after a long and hard journey. I felt like I had found my destiny, after a long and hard search.

I explored the planet, and discovered its secrets. I found ancient ruins, and advanced technology. I found ancient history, and advanced knowledge. I found ancient culture, and advanced art. I found ancient wisdom, and advanced science.

I also found something else.

I found my people.

They were living in a hidden city, under a dome. They were the survivors of the war, the remnants of the civilization. They were the keepers of the secrets, the guardians of the planet. They were the descendants of the lost planet, just like me.

They welcomed me with open arms, and treated me like family. They told me their stories, and listened to mine. They showed me their achievements, and praised mine. They taught me their skills, and learned from mine. They gave me their love, and received mine.

They also gave me something else.

They gave me a name.

The name of the planet.

The name of my home.

The name of my destiny.

They called it...

Zarion.
